PSU teachers took part in an International Conference devoted to teaching Russian as a foreign language
On 16-17 May, teachers of the Department of “Russian as a Foreign Language”, Penza State University, took part in the International Research Conference “Switching to online: pedagogical practices and safety”. The organizers of the conference were Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Centre for Russian Research at Jawaharlal Nehru University (India), Namangan State University (Uzbekistan) with support of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation).
200 participants from 15 countries made reports on organizing online teaching Russian as a foreign language. The participants discussed best practices of using different platforms and resources in the course of training, problems of assessing students in terms of online training, forms of organizing practical work, etc.
V. Shmelkova, Head of the Department “Russian as a Foreign Language”, Penza State University, presented a report “Organizing distance training of Russian as a foreign language in groups”.
Scholars from different countries shared the experience they have accumulated in distance training of Russian for international students.
