On April 18, 2021, the holiday of spring and friendship «No Ruz" took place in the Komsomolsky Culture and Leisure Park.

The celebration took place within the framework of the next stage of the Festival of National Cultures "Penza, you are my Russia!" An exhibition of decorative and applied art with a national flavor and book editions, as well as a concert programme were organized for the guests of the holiday. The concert programme included soloists and creative teams of the national and cultural autonomies of Penza and the Penza region.

Penza State University was represented by international  students from Tajikistan - Benazir Usmanova, who took part in the flag parade and in the national exhibition, and Khusravjoni Karimzoda, who performed the song "Tekoon Bede" in the concert programme. “The value of national holidays in general and No Ruz in particular lies in the rapprochement and active cultural exchange between peoples. For us, international students, the organization of such events helps to socialize in the Russian student environment,” emphasized the students.
