PSU opens the Russian-Indian Cultural Centre
On Friday, May 14, the Russian-Indian cultural centre was opened at the hall of residence no. 6/2 took place at Penza State University. The aim of the Centre is to promote the Russian language and Russian culture in India, to strengthen Russian-Indian cooperation, to increase mutual understanding and respect for the cultures of Russia and India, including through the study of the Russian language, literature, art and culture of Russia by Indian students.
The guests of honor at the opening ceremony were Aleksandr Guliakov, Rector of Penza State University, and Solanki Yuvrajsinh Pradipkumar, general partner of PSU, director of the Chevalier Group.
Aleksandr Guliakov emphasized that fruitful cooperation will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and allied relations between Russia and India.
Solanki Yuvrajsinh Pradipkumar, in his turn, thanked the University and the Rector for their support in realizing the potential and initiatives of PSU international students and handed letters of gratitude to Aleksandr Guliakov for his help during the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring and summer of 2020. In addition, representatives of India presented the University with teaching aids as a gift for further successful training of highly qualified personnel.
