"Cross-Cultural Communication in the Modern World" united representatives of 12 countries of the world

The XI International Scientific and Practical Conference of International Students "Cross-Cultural Communication in the Modern World" has completed its work at Penza State University. It was held on Monday, December 5, at the Institute of International Cooperation. In 2022, the conference was attended by representatives of India, Ukraine, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Tanzania and Lebanon, studying at the universities of Penza, Cheboksary and Izhevsk.

At the plenary session, Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Penza State University, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. “On behalf of Aleksandr Guliakov, Rector of PSU, Doctor of Law, let me greet you, express my gratitude, support and hope for fruitful cooperation. I am sure that the participants of all six sections will find proper listeners, and that each of you will discover new talents in yourself, because the primary task of our conference is to develop your abilities as young researchers,” said the Director of the Institute of International Cooperation.

According to Jovic Petrovich, the executive member of the board of directors of the IC METACOGNIS Institute (Serbia), the conference allows getting acquainted with different cultures and establishing a productive dialogue: “You have a difficult task: you need to present the culture of your people to the audience. I wish you success and fruitful work.”

As part of the plenary session, presentations were made by: doctoral student at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia), researcher at the IC METACOGNIS Institute (Serbia), researcher at the University of Ioannina (Greece) Nikola Petrovich and scientific supervisor of research in the field of psychology at the IC METACOGNIS Institute (Serbia), professor, Head of the Laboratory of Experimental Psychology of the University of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) prof. Dr. Svetlana Boroevich.

The conference was divided into six sections, within which topical issues from the sphere of linguistics, medicine, media, social and cultural activities, as well as problems of the development of the world economy, international relations and intercultural dialogue were discussed.
