Indian partner Dr. Yuvraajsinh Solanki pays a visit to Penza State University
Penza State University is hosting an official visit of the partner for the Republic of India, director of Chevalier Group, Dr. Yuvraajsinh Solanki.
During his visit, the Indian partner met with the rector of Penza State University Aleksandr Guliakov. The meeting was attended by First Vice-Rector Dmitrii Artamonov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Gleb Sintsov, Director of the Medical Institute Aleksandr Mitroshin and Assistant Vice-Rector for International Affairs Yurii Zhelezniak.
It is significant that the visit timed to the tenth anniversary of signing an agreement on mutual cooperation in the area of educational services for citizens of the Republic of India.
Dr. Yuvraajsinh Solanki expressed his intention to increase the number of Indian students for training in the Specialist’s degree programme “General Medicine”, which is implemented in the English language. In order to maintain a high level of passing the Indian exam NEXT (Screening test), the partner proposed to reinforce training of Indian students during their studies at PSU, particularly by inviting Indian teachers to give specialised lectures in 10 disciplines. The partner also offered to renovate three floors in the residence hall no. 5 accommodating Indian students.
Aleksandr Guliakov supported all the proposals of the Indian partner and instructed to develop a roadmap for undertaking these initiatives.
Notably, Penza State University is now teaching about 600 Indian students. This year the university witnessed the 5th anniversary graduation of Indian students.
