On Friday, December 15, the final of the KVN “Sura” Official League took place at the Penza Concert Hall. Six teams competed for the victory: “Swallows” (team of KVN team members, Penza), “Team of Programmers” (PSU, Faculty of Computer Engineering), and “International Team” (PSU, Institute of International Cooperation), Banger (Penza State Agrarian University), La-La Land (Penza Arts College), “PenzGTU team” (Penza State Technological University). The teams had to play four competitions: greeting, warm-up, contest among captains and musical task.

The “International Team” includes students from Tajikistan, Armenia, Jordan, Egypt, India, Kyrgyzstan and Zambia. The participants admit that the preparation was not easy, but not only did the students put a lot of effort into the game, but also their whole soul: “We rehearsed a lot, wrote jokes, edited them. This is KVN - I had to sacrifice sleep, personal time, rest, but it was worth it!”

This season was the second for the students, and its result was victory - the team of the Institute of International Cooperation “International Team” became the two-time Champion of the 2022/2023 season of the Official League of KVN “Sura”. This is the second major victory for our team at the regional level. Sahakanush Muradyan was recognized as the “Best Actress” of the game.

Now international students will have to defend the honor of Penza State University and the region at the 35th International Festival of KVN teams “KiViN-2024”, which will be held from January 12 to 25 in the resort capital of Russia - the city of Sochi.
