Serbian experts discussed the implementation of IT technologies in healthcare with participants of the PSU Accelerator 2.0
On Wednesday, September 25, within the framework of the PSU acceleration programme" Penza State University Accelerator 2.0", a meeting with Serbian colleagues was held in a hybrid format on the topic "Problems of implementing IT technologies in healthcare and ways to solve them: the experience of Serbia".
The event was organized with the support of the International Projects Department. The moderator was Tatiana Razuvaeva, Head of the Department.
Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU, noted in his greeting:
"An important role in implementing the acceleration programme is played not only by educational lectures and workshops in which the accelerator participants take part, but also by meetings with experts to exchange opinions and experience."
Jovica Petrovic, President of the Executive Board of the Metacognis Institute in Novi Sad (Serbia), addressed the students:
“By developing your start-up companies, you create a healthy atmosphere in science and business, and also create opportunities for developing research and technology transfer.”
Nikola Petrovic, Assistant of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad, project manager in the field of medicine, biomedicine, biomedical engineering of the Metacognis Institute of Novi Sad, presented in his report the trends and problems of implementing IT technologies in healthcare in Serbia. Andrei Kuzmin, Head of the Department of Information and Computation Systems of PSU, discussed with the participants of the meeting and with Serbian experts the problems, opportunities and prospects for developing telemedicine in the healthcare system.
Students actively asked questions on the topic and received comprehensive answers from experts. Participants exchanged contacts for future fruitful cooperation in the development of their startup projects.
