Representatives of the Medical Institute of Penza State University became winners of the XXIV International scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists "Student Medical Science of the XXI century". The event was held at the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University of the Republic of Belarus on October 24-25.

On the first day, as part of the XXIV International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists, meetings of 14 sections were held in the university rooms and at clinics in Vitebsk.

The conference was attended by students of VSMU, all medical universities of the Republic of Belarus, as well as students of medical universities of Smolensk, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Ryazan, Petrozavodsk, Penza, Volgograd, Kazan and St. Petersburg.

Students of Penza State University Marina Makartseva (supervisor — senior lecturer of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology Aleksandr Mitishev), Elizaveta Akishina (supervisors: professor of the Department of Outpatient Therapy and Alert Training in Healthcare Sergey Gerashchenko, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Larisa Zyulkina), Mikhail Demidov (supervisor — Sergey Gerashchenko), Andrey Demidov (supervisor — head of the Department of Outpatient Therapy and Alert Training in Healthcare Larisa Burmistrova), Aleksandr Vatanin (supervisor — head of the Department of Human Anatomy Nadezhda Mikulyak), Anastasia Kazakova (supervisor — associate professor of the Department of Human Anatomy Maria Morozova) presented scientific reports in five sections.

On October 25, at the plenary session, Aleksandr Mitishev, senior lecturer of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology of Penza State University, made a report.
Following the conference, the reports of students of the Medical Institute of PSU were awarded diplomas.
The participants were also given tours of the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University, where the guests were shown the center for practical training and simulation training and scientific laboratories. The tour of the historical center of Vitebsk, which ended with a visit to the Marc Chagall Museum, was also memorable.
