Ani Rachmat, professor at the Department of Russian language, the University of Padjadjaran (Jakarta, Indonesia) has completed a professional training course at the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language under the supervision of prof. V. Shmelkova. The Indonesian professor observed the practice of language classes conducted by the best teachers, participated in all the events of the Department, took part in an online-conference with Nakhichevan University (Azerbaijan) dedicated to 200-year anniversary of the Russian poet M.Yu.Lermontov. Ani was happy to get first-hand experience in teaching bachelor and master students. She joined bachelor students in their traineeship programme and visited folk classes at the College of Arts. She also paid a visit to Penza museums – I.N. Ulyanov Museum and V.O. Kluchevsky Museum.

The University of Padjadjaran is a partner of Penza State University, and exchange visits and other events are beneficial for both universities.
