Possibility of international cooperation with France was discussed in the Institute of Teacher Education
On December 8th, 2016 the negotiations concerning the possibilities of international cooperation between Belinsky Institute of Teacher Education and Franco-Slavic Association (France, the Var region) were held within the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of education in the humanities: Philology, journalism, history“ in Belinsky Institute of Teacher Education, Penza State University.
The discussion engaged Sergei M. Vasin, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Olga P. Surina, Director of the Institute of Teacher Education, Margarita M. Timon-Rudkovskaya, President of Franco-Slavic Association, Olga Al. Sukhova, Dean of the Faculty of History, Languages and Literature, Ekaterina K. Reva, Head of the Department of Journalism, Tatyana V. Strygina, Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism.
During the negotiation parties identified a plan of actions, which may be implemented in 2017. That is the development of historical and cultural tourism between Penza Oblast and the French region, the establishment of e-learning language courses and the participation in the scientific conferences.
“It is extremely important for us that Penza State University faculty and students will be able to take part in life of French scientific community, to take training courses. Undoubtedly it will bring our HEI to a new level of both teaching and scientific and methodological development”, Sergei M. Vasin emphasised.
Olga P. Surina, Director of the Institute of Teacher Education, noted teaching staff willingness to work on strengthening of international relations.
