PSU student studies in Romania within academic mobility programme
The Department of the English Language (V.G. Belinsky Institute of Teacher Education, Penza State University) recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Linguistics at Transilvania University of Brasov, located in the city of Brasov (Romania). This university is among the top twenty higher educational institutions in Romania.
This cooperation agreement includes academic mobility of both students and faculty.
Transilvania University of Brasov is a new partner for PSU within Erasmus+ programme. Thus, the Romanian HEI cooperates with just three universities in Russia, i.e. the Southern Federal University, N.P. Ogaryov Mordovian National Research University and Penza State University.
At present, Kadriya Khayrova, second-year student of the Faculty of History, Languages and Literature (PSU), studies at Transilvania University of Brasov. She is the first PSU student undergoing training there. The study period lasts from February to June 2018.
“Almost all language disciplines are taught here. They include English Grammar, Lexicology, German Language Practical Course, Modern English Literature, and Postwar Literature. Classes are given in English. Brasov is a cosy European city. You can also visit several castles that are located nearby. I do enjoy studying here!” Kadriya Khayrova emphasised.
In addition, Olga Mikhanova, lecturer at the Department of the English Language (PSU), will conduct English practical classes at Transilvania University of Brasov within Erasmus+ academic mobility programme.
