Online meeting held on the implementation of the ENTEP project
On 22 June 2020, the project team participants from Penza State University attended the online meeting of the consortium running the international project Enhancing Teaching Practice in Higher Education in RUSSIA and CHINA (ENTEP). The project managers at PSU, namely Sergei Vasin, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and Tatiana Razuvaeva, Head of the International Projects Department, had a discussion with Russian and foreign colleagues on the key issues of implementing the project in the alarming epidemiological situation.
The project coordinator Prof. Dr. Holger Kuße (Technische Universität Dresden, Germany) informed that the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency decided to extend the project till 15 October 2021. This will enable undertaking all planned activities. During the meeting, the participants ruled to reschedule several on-site events to 2021, as well as to organise some meetings in the distance mode.
Despite difficult circumstances, the project is under the implementation at PSU. Thus, the second group of trainees made up of PSU teaching and administrative staff completed the professional development course “Enhancing teaching practices in terms of implementing the Bologna Process” at the Centre for Teaching and Learning Erasmus+. It is planned to train three more groups by the end of 2020.
The next online meeting is summoned to 4 September 2020. The consortium participants noted the importance of such meetings, as this allows making rapid changes to the schedule of activities and negotiating them with all partners, taking into account the current situation in a particular country. In addition, such meetings trigger joint discussions of the emerging issues that is essential for the successful implementation of the project and fulfilment of all planned commitments.
