Finalists of the International Reading Competition "Words are Like Wings", including international students of Penza State University from Indonesia, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, visited the Penza Regional Drama Theater.

The contestants took part in a master class conducted by Vitaly Sokolov, Head of the Literary Department. The students managed not only to look into the theatre houses, workshops and behind the scenes, but also to try themselves as a stage driver, assistant director, cutter, set designer and actor who records a song for the performance.

This master class was the second for the contestants: on November 10, Andrei Zibrov, a Russian theater and film actor, told the readers how to overcome anxiety, improve memory and enhance the skills of presenting the material. Next, the participants will take part in a gala concert, which will take place on December 7, 2020.
