On April 3 and 4, the International Competition of Vocal Art "Crystal April" was held at the Center for Choreographic Art in Penza. Vocalists of all age categories from Penza, the Penza region and other cities of the Volga region participated in it.

The Institute for International Cooperation, PSU, was represented by Saakanush Muradyan from Armenia, Abdelrahman Mohamed from Egypt and Khusravjoni Karimzoda from Tajikistan (guided by Svetlana Dogadina).

Also, international students of N.N. Voronov Penza Artillery Engineering Institute from the Lao People's Democratic Republic took part in the competition.

According to the results of the competition in the category "Solo", Khusravjoni Karimzoda received the title of 1st degree diploma holder, Abdelrahman Mohamed became the laureate of the 2nd degree, and Saakanush Muradyan became the laureate of the 1st degree. In addition, the duet of Saakanush and Abdelrahman won the Grand Prix - the main prize of the competition!
