On February 12, 2025, Penza State University international students met with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation at the Multifunctional Youth Center of the Penza Region. 

To continue fruitful cooperation in the field of science and education, as well as to discuss the process of training citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, the second secretary Fathullobek Aslamov and the head of the secretariat of the Public Council at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation Said Boyev arrived in Penza on an official visit. 

Also the meeting was attended by Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU, Olimdzhon Sherov, Chairman of the Penza Regional Public Organization "Tajik National Cultural Center", Maksim Adamov, Assistant to the Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU, heads of departments of the International Education Office of the Institute of International Cooperation of PSU Kirill Plotnikov, Aleksandr Pervushkin, Ekaterina Syagaylo.

During the meeting, the current issues of tightening the migration legislation of the Russian Federation were discussed, namely the need to issue a "green card for a foreigner", the rules of temporary relaxation for violators or migration amnesty, combining work activities with educational processes. 

In his speech, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Gleb Sintsov noted: "Further development of relations between Russia and Tajikistan will directly depend on you, students, you have a great responsibility, as you are the future of your country! In Penza, representatives of Tajikistan have good support in the form of a community in the person of Chairman Olimdzhon Sherov, at the university in the form of the Institute of International Cooperation employees."
