15th October 2014, Penza State University was visited by an official delegation from Gansu province, China, that included representatives of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Gansu province, the Foreign Affairs Office of Gansu Provincial People’s Government, and the Northwest Normal University.

The Chinese official guests met with the first Vice-Rector of the university, V. Meshcheryakov to discuss the prospects of further cooperation between the educational institutions of Gansu province and Penza State University, the areas of collaboration in education, research, innovation and culture. The cooperation agreements were signed between Penza State University and the Northwest Normal University, the Foreign Affairs Office of Gansu Provincial People’s Government.

The guests also visited the university museum, R&D business incubator, university laboratories.
