Penza State University holds the 28th place in the national rating of universities
Within the framework of the project “Social navigator” International information agency “Russia today” and Labour market research centre presented “The rating of university demand in the Russian Federation, 2015”.
The rating included 463 state, ministerial, municipal and private universities from 80 subjects of the Russian Federation, which have been providing training in general and additional programmes of higher education in 2014.
Among them there are 87 classical universities, 140 engineering (technical) universities, 56 agricultural universities, 61 universities of administration, 72 universities in the Humanities, and 47 medical universities.
The university rating took into consideration such indicators as “the number of graduates who received employment after graduating from the full-time educational programme of training”, “profit from research work, educational services to side organizations in total profit of the educational organization”, “citation index of publications from the organization staff”.
The rating leaders among classical universities are Lomonosov Moscow State University, Novosibirsk State University and Tomsk State University.
Penza State University took the 28th place out of 87 classical universities, leaving behind such universities of the Volga Region as National Research Saratov State University (40th place), Mari State University (47th place), Orenburg State University (65th place), and I.N. Ulyanov Chuvash State University (83d place).
