L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan) continues work on the programme of visiting professors in the context of academic mobility. The group of Russian educators has been reinforced by professors Vladimir Ja. Goryachev, the Department of Power and Electrical Engineering, and Mikhail Yu. Mikheev, PenzStu.

The Republic of Kazakhstan has recently adopted the national programme on space research in the development of which the Russian Federation is actively participating. ENU is a leading university paying significant attention and allocating considerable funds to provide the process of specialists training in space research. International cooperation in this process is a very important factor.

“All our professors train 1st-year masters at the Department of Space Engineering and Technology. Thanks to Professor Dastan Syrymovich Ergaliev, Head of this Department, Doctor of Science, our university and one of the leading Kazakhstan HEIs, Eurasian National University (ENU) named after prominent Russian scholar in oriental studies Lev N. Gumilyov, have established close creative and professional links”, noted the representatives of PSU Polytechnic Institute.

“Our Department lecturers not for the first time take part in such events as international conferences, exchange lectures. We have an ability to obtain best practice not only in teaching, but also in the sphere in which we train our students. We can be aware of new inventions, ideas, projects.
