Penza State University takes part in education fair in Tajikistan
On April 12, 2017 the opening of the VI International Fair “Russian Education. Dushanbe-2017” was held in Dushanbe (the Republic of Tajikistan).
“This year the fair will bring together 37 Russian higher education institutions, visitors will get detailed information on HEIs. Moreover they will study specialty areas, educational programmes, living and leisure conditions,” emphasised Mikhail Vozhdaev, Chief Representative of the Federal Agency for the CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) in Tajikistan.
Penza State University is among leading Russian HEIs taking part in the fair.
“The fair’s goal is to inform school leavers and graduates about areas and conditions of study in the Russian Federation. Furthermore fair’s goals include demonstrating achievements, raising public interest in Russian educational programmes and establishing the unified information and education space of CIS countries,” Mikhail Vozhdaev added.
This is the third time PSU presents information on higher education of Penza Region in Tajikistan.
“The demand for Russian education in general and study in PSU in particular is really high in the Republic of Tajikistan. It is worth mentioning that PSU has gained awareness and popularity there. Due to the word-of-mouth advertising friends and relatives of our students come up to PSU exhibition stand at the fair. This evidences that education received in PSU is in-demand,” Damir Ab. Saldaev, Head of the International Education Office, commented on preliminary results of the fair in Dushanbe.
