PSU continues strengthening scientific cooperation with foreign universities
On 18 – 22 June 2018, Olga Barabash, Senior Researcher of the Research Institute of Fundamental and Applied Research, visited “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia (Romania) within the Erasmus+ Academic Mobility Programme. The working meetings were held with Professor Theodora Popescu, Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, university lecturers, students, and specialists from the International Relations Office.
Olga Barabash delivered the report on Forensic Linguistics: Origins, Problems, Prospects. She also presented the results of the implemented projects and got acquainted with projects launched in the Romanian university.
Representatives of “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia reiterated their intention to promote partnership with Penza State University, which was initiated in 2015 by the International Relations Office. Over three years of successful interaction, 25 lecturers and 13 students from partner universities participated in the academic exchanges.
The June business visit of Olga Barabash to Alba Iulia University resulted in the signing of the agreement on international scientific cooperation in applied and legal linguistics, comparative linguistics. “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia also agreed to officially co-organise the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Language. Right. Society”, which will be held in 2019.
