PSU post-graduate student Andrey Kalachev completes scientific internship in Sweden
Andrey Kalachev, postgraduate student of the Department of Computer Engineering (Faculty of Computer Engineering, PSU), underwent a ten-month internship at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering at Lulea University of Technology (LTU), Sweden. He was awarded the Russian Federation President grant for study abroad in the 2017/2018 academic year.
The topic of the internship is the intelligent management systems for future industry.
Based on the results of research, PSU post-graduate student prepared two articles that were accepted for publication in the proceedings of the leading foreign conferences: the IEEE 23rd International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation (ETFA-2018 held in Turin, Italy) and the 44th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IECON-2018 held in Washington, the US).
Andrey Kalachev took part in the DCC Summer camp 2018, aimed at implementing ambitious joint projects in the field of industrial automation and establishing communication with foreign scientists under the aegis of Lulea University of Technology.
His experience will be valuable in research carried out under the supervision of Professor Victor Dubinin, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, at PSU Department of Computer Engineering.
