A post-graduate student of Computer Engineering department presented his report at the international conference in Spain
Dmitry Drozdov, a post-graduate student at the department “Computer Engineering”, Polytechnic Institute, Penza State University, made a report at the international conference ETFA 2019 (24th IEEE Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation) which took place from 10th to 13th September in Zaragoza, Spain.
Plenary reports at the conference were made by prominent scientists and specialists from France, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, and Italy. The work of the conference was divided into 10 regular and 11 special sessions. Besides, three workshops and three forums were held: industrial forum, forum of students and young specialists, and forum of women in engineering.
Dmitry’s report was dedicated to developing formal semantics of real-time control systems for industrial cyber physical systems, which are one of the attributes of “Industry 4.0”. “Dmitry’s participation in this respectable international conference will allow him to identify the development vector of modern science in industry, to prepare for the scientific report in PSU, and to increase the number of Web of Science and Scopus articles”, said Prof. V.N. Dubinin, doctor of engineering sciences at the department “Computer Engineering”, Dmitry’s research supervisor.
Dmitry Drozdov’s participation in the work of ETFA’2019 conference was made possible due to the support of Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden, where D.N. Drozdov is taking a double degree post-graduate course at PSU-LTU.
