Post-graduate students from Penza and Romania universities presented their reports in linguistics
International cooperation between the English Language Department, Penza State University, and the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Transilvania University of Brașov, is under way. An online-seminar «International Student Research Webinar in Language and Culture» took place on 20th January.
During the webinar, master’s degree and post-graduate students from the Russian and Romanian universities presented their reports which has been made on the results of their research. The organizers of the event were Tatyana Dubrovskaya, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the English Language Department, and Raluka Sinu, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Transilvania University.
Five presentations were made during the webinar. The reports from the Russian side were made by N.Videneeva, teacher at the English Language Department and a third-year post-graduate student, and E. Yuskaeva, a master’s degree students at the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages.
According to Tatyana Dubrovskaya, a high research level of the reports made in English, up-to-day themes, and interesting issues allow us to believe that the project will develop and contribute to promoting research among the youth and fostering international cooperation.
