The VI Competition “International Student of the Year”, which took place as part of the PSU “Student of the Year” Award, ended at Penza State University.

The competition programme was attended by 10 students from 8 countries of the world: Zikrov Aliazgar (Faculty of Computer Engineering, Tajikistan), Askarbekova Ayperi (Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Kyrgyzstan), Ganbaatar Murun (Faculty of Dentistry, Mongolia), Khallyeva Rugsat (Faculty of General Medicine, Turkmenistan), Nurullaeva Rozygul (Faculty of General Medicine, Turkmenistan ), Ogundiran Oluwatobi Ajibola (Faculty of General Medicine, Nigeria), Sony Ishika (Faculty of General Medicine, India), Bhatt Utkarsh Himanshubhai (Faculty of General Medicine, India), Alsadeyah Omar Mahmud (Faculty of Dentistry, Jordan), Qian Wang (Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Sciences, China).

The nominees took a test in Russian, made a presentation-story about their country, and also wrote and defended their own project within the framework of the laboratory of student initiatives.

On the results of all stages, Bhatt Utkarsh from India became the winner and holder of the title “Best International Student of the Year 2020”.
