International Office management extends greetings to students on the start of the academic year
On 1 September 2020, Penza State University welcomes more than 2000 international students from around the world. Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Sergey Ivanchin, Head of International Education Office, brought their greetings to students, teaching staff and of course freshers.
‘Knowledge Day is the major event for students and teaching staff of Russian higher education institutions, for everyone who advances and promotes Russian education. This day is inextricably linked to exciting initiatives and prospects, ambitious experiments, joyful discoveries, and continuous exploration. PSU International Office is a hub, which attracts students with diverse religious and cultural backgrounds and enables the exchange of traditions and ideas,’ emphasised Gleb Sintsov.
‘I extend my deepest congratulations to those who are just starting their educational and scientific journey — our freshers. Be diligent in gaining knowledge and active in undertaking public activities, and your student years will surely become the most memorable period of your life. Welcome to our international family!’ noted Sergey Ivanchin.
