On the New Year’s Eve, international students of Penza State University, with the support of the International Education Office and the International Students Association of the Penza Region, annually organise a charity event for children at the boarding school in the village of Neverkino.

This year, the complicated epidemiological situation prevented students from congratulating children in person. Therefore, they initiated giving sweet gifts to children.

“In these challenging times, it is especially important to boost the spirit of the season and to create the festive atmosphere for children. We are very sorry that this year we could not personally congratulate boys and girls. That’s why we decided to bring joy to them and send them sweets and soft toys – each child received a personal New Year’s gift,” said Adel Maqbol, Chairman of the International Students Association.
